I am no percussionist, but I know for sure that I have seen sets of 6 Timpani being used by a timpanist throughout 1 piece. I saw it once in Mahler Symphony 5 (there was actually ANOTHER set of 4) and in a video of Tharichen 's Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra.

I'm trying to input a snare drum roll into Sibelius 6. I am using VDL 2.5.5 and Kontakt 4, as well as the VDL Template 7.0a from The Write Score. Further system info is in my signature. I have inputted the roll with three slashes, however, the roll continues to play back forever, instead of just the length of the note (a quarter note). This behavior only occurs when I have either two or three.
